There are many places in the world where resources available for healthcare are extremely limited if not available at all. While local clinicians and administrators are among the most talented, innovative and dedicated professionals we have dealt with, the situation remains dire. It was for this reason, we founded with other partners the Centre for Global Surgery, a charitable organisation that has provided front line care and training - on a pro bono basis - in countries as varied as Tanzania, Mozambique, Rwanda, Malawi and Ukraine, Chile, Uruguay, and Haiti. 

At Code Blue Advisors, we have made a commitment to being an Imagine Canada "Caring Company", including donating a minimum of 1% of pre-tax profits to charity, in our case the Centre for Global Surgery, to champion and sustain at least one community investment project, and to publicly report our community investment activities.

We also continue our long-standing provision of pro bono clinical training and other support to the Centre for Global Surgery.
